The Idaho Castor Company crest: a beaver tail beside the letters ICC. Est. 2024, Boise, Idaho. Pelt, Castor, Baculum.
The Idaho Castor Company is organized to restore a domestic, vertically integrated wild-furbearer value chain to the Snake River basin for the first time since the Hudson’s Bay Company withdrew. Baculum Capital Management is lead investor in the Company’s seed round.
The industry monetizes two of a beaver’s three commercial products and discards the third. The Company does not.
