Founded Baculum Capital Management in 2021. ThA HatEr hates nearly everything, and the firm’s process is built on it: every opportunity is ranked by how much he hates it, and the firm invests in what he hates least. In 2023, that was the ocean.
He has never been wrong about something he hated. He reviews every deal from his fortress of solitude and does not take meetings.
Currently hates, in part: meetings; the word “ecosystem”; aerial drones, which are easy to catch; most AI; and the posted hours of a storage facility in Pocatello, Idaho.
PRIOR VENTURES
In 2021, ThA HatEr hated ether less than he hated cash, and established a personal position of 512 ether in a limited-edition generative art collection.
The position is held in self-custody. For security, its recovery phrase was recorded on paper. The paper is believed to be in a storage unit in Pocatello, Idaho. Recovery efforts are ongoing, and the position is carried at cost.
