The firm found Electric Hawkeye in 2023 in the mountains of central Idaho, living without electrical service, the handle notwithstanding. Holds an Idaho resident trapping license, on file with the firm.

Electric Hawkeye is a poor shot. It has not mattered. Beaver are trapped, not shot, and no one the firm has met knows beaver better: where they will build, when they will move, and what a dam is worth before the water rises behind it.

Electric Hawkeye has no telephone, e-mail, or street address. Messages are left at the ICC field office and collected when convenient.

PRIOR VENTURES

Exited a concentrated position in Beanie Babies in the summer of 1999, ahead of the broader market, and has described the exit as “the only time a collectible has done what it said it would.”
