PLAN

In 1991, C0mrade fled a psychiatric hospital in Leningrad without discharge papers, shortly before the city stopped being called that. The commitment was made under “sluggish schizophrenia,” the diagnosis the Soviet state gave to people who disagreed with it. C0mrade considers the matter closed.

Now resides in a cul-de-sac in a planned community, described in firm correspondence as suburban heaven. The homeowners’ association account is in good standing.

PRIOR VENTURES

Served as naval and fisheries adviser to the Republic of Uzbekistan, one of only two doubly landlocked countries in the world. During that tenure Uzbekistan lost no vessels, ceded no coastline, and was at no point surprised from the sea.

The Aral Sea was once the fourth-largest lake in the world. Its fishing fleet now rests in the desert at Moʻynoq, in the same position at the end of the tenure as at the start. C0mrade cites it as the strongest evidence for the Reefs & Fisheries thesis: a fishery is an asset until it is not.
